On June 5, Department of science and technology of Hunan Province held the “One Character Makes You Fall in Love with China” 2024 Foreign Experts Celebrating Dragon Boat Festival Cultural Exchange Activity. 20 foreign experts from 12 countries including Pakistan, Egypt, and Russia were invited to participate in the event.

  The event was held in SongDan Chinese Character Art Museum in Hunan College of Foreign Studies. Foreign experts visited Chinese character art works such as rubbings, eaves tiles, and inscriptions, experienced engraving seals and rubbing Chinese characters, and participated in the Dragon Boat Festival folk custom experience activities such as making sachets and rice dumplings, to fully experience the charm of the traditional Chinese culture in a pleasant atmosphere. They all expressed that this event has given them a deeper understanding and feeling of traditional Chinese culture, and will bring this beautiful cultural experience back to their own country to share with more people.
